My Top 6 Beauty Products to Transition into Fall // Staying Hydrated

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is doing amazing and that your September is off to an incredible start! I've been really in the fall mood lately, wishing on colder weather while I sip my pumpkin spiced frappe. So today I thought I would share my top 6 beauty products to help make the transition from Summer to Fall.

 1// Philosophy : Hands of Hope $13
This is such a great thing to be able to throw into my bag. It keeps my hands so hydrated so I don't have to keep reapplying and as always, I'm obsessed with all Philosophy scents. Look out for this little guy around Christmas time, they usually carry it at Sephora and Hudson's Bay for the little Christmas ornaments.

This is by far one of my favorite lip masks. If you think it's a waste of money, I can ensure you it's not. I don't know how I ever applied lipstick or lip products in the colder months without this.

This should be no surprise that this guy made it into the list. I have been obsessed with this foundation since around this time last year. It's so hydrating and my skin is noticeably better when I stick to this. I've tried countless foundations since buying this, but I just can't find one. I have repurchased this multiple times and won't be stopping any time soon!

I know I included the original as well, but I am equally obsessed with this rose gold version. I always get compliments when I wear it out because it gives off such an amazing pigment.

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know all about my love for the Sugar Lip Treatments from Fresh. This is a staple in my makeup bag and I never go anywhere without it. It hydrates like crazy and smells so good. If you're looking for something with a bit more pigment, I highly recommend also trying out their colored lip treatments.

What would a blog post from me be without this bad boy having a feature? I probably sound like a broken record but I seriously have not been able to find a moisturizer that works better than this one.

As someone who seriously struggles with dry skin, I knew that my top beauty products would have to be all about keeping hydrated. What are your favorite products to use when transitioning into a new season? What is your top Fall find? Please let me know in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading & I hope you have a great Friday and weekend!

Eating Healthy & Making Changes

Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week has been going well so far, and hopefully this weekend comes fast! Today I wanted to do a little bit of a different post for you guys, as well as myself. For the last little while I have been trying to make changes in my life to get me back to a healthy body and mind.
As this is a little different post, I wanted to just do a quick little update and see if it would be something of interest, and if it is I will definitely do some more posts around it in the upcoming weeks and months.

Currently something that I have been trying to focus on is healthy eating. Which is usually what I struggle with the most. I have been trying to find healthy snacks to replace anything that I would usually tend to gravitate towards. I have been doing a lot of research into healthy snacks and have come across some ones that I would love to share with you guys. In the future I would love to share some recipes with you as well.

Recently I've loved the idea of planning ahead. Although food prepping is something I still struggle with. So for starters, I decided to try and start prepping snacks just to start off with. The infographic that I have attached in this blog post, gives eight different healthy snacks, with as a bonus can recharge your beauty routine!

Do you guys use any meal services where companies send you snacks every month? I have been wanting to find an affordable and healthy option for this! The info above is from, which provides a service where you can choose the snacks that you'd like and how often you'd like them sent to you. You can also choose if you'd like to just try a sample, which I think is incredible. You can fight the anti-aging fight with Goji Berries. Satisfy your ultimate sweet tooth with Cacao Nibs, which I'm personally so excited to try! I feel like this would be such a great thing to add to things like granola cereal or acai bowls! Kick start your journey with weight loss with the Matcha Green Tea. This is something that definitely caught my eye and I plan on trying it out! Last but certainly not least, Chia Seeds. I love chia seeds, they are incredible to add to everyday things like your breakfast to your supper to help make you feel fuller.
What kind of healthy eating tips do you use? Is this something that you'd like me to start posting about on my blog? Please let me know in the comments below!

Thank you so much for reading,

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette // Review & Swatches

Happy Wednesday!

I hope that you all have been doing good, I have missed blogging so much! It feels good to be getting back in the swing of things! Today I figured what better way to get back into blogging than starting out with one of the most hyped up palettes out this summer!

Of course the palette I'm talking about is none other than the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette.

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you will probably know that I have been a bit obsessed with the entire Jaclyn Hill collaboration. If you don't know who Jaclyn Hill is, I highly recommend binge watching her videos on YouTube, because I can pretty much guarantee that you'll be obsessed just like I am.

The first thing that caught my eye is the packaging. I can safely say that this collections packaging is one of the most prettiest that I've ever seen. White and gold? Sign me up and take my money!

The second thing that caught my eye is the pigmentation and the colors in this palette. It is honestly gorgeous. The mirror that comes in this palette was unexpected but pleasantly welcomed. It's massive and so convenient, especially if you're traveling because it actually allows you to see all of your face. Typically I'm one of those people that travel with an actual mirror because none of my makeup that I typically travel with has an adequate mirror. This completely changed with this palette.

Price wise, this palette goes for $62 CAD ($52 US). Which is expensive, but if you're obsessed with highlighter or want a palette that will fit in with any makeup look, you need this in your life. It is sold out online, but I know that some Sephora stores still have it in stock. Also, a great alternative to this palette if you can't get your hands on it or if you want something a bit cheaper, I highly recommend the split pans that Becca and Jaclyn have recently released, which retails for about $46 CAD!

One of my main concerns, even when I first purchased Champagne Pop, was that it would not suit my skin tone whatsoever.  It is very yellow toned, and my skin is extremely pale and has pink undertones. However, I have never had a problem with Champagne Pop, or Prosecco Pop. Every time I wear either one of these highlights I always get compliments about my skin looking healthy and glowing.

The blushes are the same, they fit in with my skin tone so perfectly.

Next up is the swatches. This is when it comes down to business. The original pan of Champagne Pop, and the holiday collection started things off with high expectations. This Champagne Collection face palette did not let me down in any way. All of the products are incredibly buttery and apply and blend seamlessly.

From left to right, starting on the bottom we have Champagne Pop, Prosecco Pop and Rose Spritz. The upper swatches are Amaretto, and Pamplemousse and finally the gorgeous shade on the end is Champagne and Prosecco Pop mixed together. I think Jaclyn and Becca nailed it for the shades in this palette. There is so much variety and I love how they included the mineral blushes for days that you don't want to be as luminous. I also love that they included Amaretto, which is the darker brown shade. On me it acts as a beauty bronzer for the days where I am darker.

Have you guys tried anything from the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection? What's your favorite product in the line? What's your favorite highlighter at the moment? Let me know in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading!

Ultimate Vegas Outfit // Dream Trip

Happy Thursday!

I couldn't be happier that the weekend is almost here! I hope you're having a great week so far, and that your weekend is even better! For today's blog post I wanted to post my Ultimate Vegas Outfit. Now, I've never been to Vegas, but I do want to go one day!
For this post I wanted to share kind of what I would want to wear whilst in Vegas. If you're like me and hate the heat, going somewhere like Vegas might be a little daunting. So, I tried to pick items that could work in both the heat and indoors where I can only imagine there is lots of craziness that happens.

To start off I decided to pick my casual outfit(s) first. Which includes of everything summery and after searching the internet for a while, I found these items that now I actually want to buy.

1// New Look Espadrille Tie Up Flat Sandal : $20 CAD
I thought this was a great pick for hanging by the pool, day parties and just walking the Vegas Strip! I also thought these would be a great transition shoe to move right into night.

2// ASOS Scallop Hem Jersey Shorts : $30 CAD
Now these shorts are probably the cutest shorts I've ever seen. I'm very closing to hitting the checkout button with these. These would be fantastic shorts to wear around shopping, or hanging by the pool. So cute and versatile.

3// Missguided High Rise Patched Ripped Slim Jean : $72 CAD
I love the boyfriend-ripped trend that is going on right now. I personally find that the majority of them are so much more comfortable than skinny jeans, but you still look semi put together.

4// ILYMIX Flat Front Metal Aviator Sunglasses : $16 USD
I don't think I could ever explain how obsessed I am with these sunglasses. I actually own these, and they are so amazing. I've never got so many compliments on a pair of sunglasses. Also, if you use the code "Undertheseabeauty20" or "Becky20" you can get 20% your entire order. They are so amazing to throw on with any outfit. They're also great for those days where you might want to skip the makeup. They are completely mirrored and come in so many different colors.

5// Nike Promo Court White Trainers : $92 CAD
How can you go wrong with Nikes? I intentionally picked white ones because to me, white screams holidays and sunshine. These would be perfect if you want a more laid back party look, or to walk around Vegas!

6// One Day Tall Longline Cardi : $59 CAD
This would be a perfect cardigan for the plane and just to throw over your outfit for when you enter the A/C zones!

7// ASOS Curve Oversized T-Shirt : $24 CAD
I love this shirt. Oversized shirts are amazing for throwing on after those late nights. This would look amazing with the shorts and jeans!

8// ASOS Body with Sequin Flamingo : $32 CAD
Other than the scalloped shorts, I think this is one of my favorite finds. This shirt would be perfect for Vegas. I seriously think this would be the perfect holiday body!

For those highly anticipated Vegas night outs I wanted to include a bunch of different outfits. As well as a swimsuit, because I can already hear the pool calling my name!

1// Y.A.S Tall Slim Leg Jumpsuit : $144 CAD
I think this would be a great outfit for dinner or for a night out. It makes you look so put together, with minimal effort, and that's always the goal, right?

2// ASOS Gold Necklace Trim Plunge Swimsuit : $57 CAD
I've always liked the one piece swimsuits over bikins, and this one is no exception. You'll look great at the pool, and you could even throw a pair of shorts on over this and wear it on a night out.

3// Lulus Magic Technique Blush Shift Dress : $98 USD
I think this dress is super cute, and could be worn on a night out or for an inside event.

4// Needle & Thread Circle Mesh Embellished Skater Dress : $228 CAD
I've been absolutely obsessed with this number for a while. Who doesn't need a LBD and some sparkle for a Vegas trip?

If you need anymore inspiration to start planning your very own trip to Vegas, visit to check out some seriously incredible hotels, attractions and party spots and amazing deals! I really hope that you enjoyed a little bit of bucket list inspiration and just some general outfit lust! Have you been to Vegas? Where would you recommend to visit? L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion // First Impressions

Happy Sunday!

I hope that you're all having a great Sunday-funday and that you kick this weeks butt! Since I've been a bit MIA from my blog, I decided to jump back into the swing of things with a first impressions and review of the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion.

When I first saw this foundation concept, I was overly excited to try it. I had watched a few YouTube videos about the Lancome cushion foundation and had really wanted to try it. However, I wasn't overly keen on the price. Then when I saw L'Oreal was coming out with one I was over the moon. Again, until I saw the price. At most of my local drugstores the foundation works out to be around $25 CAD. The justification process in my head kept telling me I'd be better off buying a foundation that was just a little bit more expensive, but that I knew I liked from Sephora. That was until it finally went on sale for $15.

My first thought other than price was the packaging. I'm truly in love with it. If you've been reading my blog for a while or following me on Instagram you may know that I'm obsessed with rose gold/copper. I also like that it's compact. Before I actually tried the product, I watched one of Jaclyn Hill's video where she uses the foundation in a makeup tutorial and I couldn't get over how amazing it looked.

For application, I decided to follow suit of Jaclyn and apply it with a brush as opposed to the powder puff that it comes with. I would highly recommend using a brush to apply it! I was so surprised that I liked the foundation when applied with a brush because ever since I fell in love with my beauty blender, I haven't really used anything else. However, I feel like the beauty blender absorbs too much of this particular foundation, so I have just been using it for concealer and to make sure everything is completely blended out.

Color Match//
In any foundation, I am almost always the lightest shade, shout out to all the red heads out there! With L'Oreal I find that sometimes picking a color can be a bit difficult because they're fairly yellow-toned and my skin is more on the pink side. I got the lightest shade for the Lumi Cushion, and it blends out so nice. It also gives my face a bit of sun-kissed color which I absolutely love.

As for the actual wear, I'm not sure if I have ever loved a foundation this much. I always have problems with my makeup either rubbing off or it getting dry. Neither has happened so far with this foundation. I have now been wearing it for almost two weeks and my foundation still looks flawless at the end of the day. The real test was wearing it on one of my night shifts and work, which is physically demanding. By the end of the shift, it didn't look like I had even worked up a sweat, which is incredible.

Before //

After //

It's also cleared up my skin. Before trying it my skin had been temperamental and just did not want to settle down for anything. Now I have very minimal breakouts.

I highly recommend trying this foundation especially if you've been struggling to find a foundation with lasting power!

Have you tried this foundation? What's your favorite foundation from the drug store/luxury brand? Let me know in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading, xo!

Home in the Six // 416 Company

Happy Sunday!

I hope you've had an amazing weekend, and that you kick Monday's butt tomorrow! Today I wanted to share something with you that's a project close to my heart.

For those of you who may be new, or may not know, I moved away from what I considered to be my home just a little under a year ago. Without getting to emotional, I'll just say that I miss it a lot and I'm counting down the days till I can go back. Home to me is Toronto. I'm not originally from there or anything, but it's where I went to College and University. It's a place where I personally think that I did most of my "growing up" and also a place where my friends are.

If you've never been to Toronto, one thing I can say about the city and the people are that they are extremely loyal to the city. There's a sense of pride everywhere you look, and it's unlike anything I've witnessed before. I've lived all over Canada in my short 22 years, but I've never been in a place like Toronto before. People are proud to call Toronto home, which I can understand and relate too.

To represent Toronto, there are countless brands that have been created and operate out of the six. One of these brands that I adore is the 416 Company. For those of you who are not familiar with Toronto, 416 is the main area code. I initially fell in love with the 416 Company when I saw their logo, which is the numbers 416, with the 1 being in the shape of the CN Tower. It's an iconic location in Toronto and I love how the 416 Company have incorporated it into their logo.

The 416 Company was so kind and sent me a few of their products. One is their signature snap back, which by the way is perfect for the summer. The other product is a phone case, with the TTC (Toronto Transit Cars) on it.

The quality of this brand is impeccable. The first thing I noticed when I opened up the package was the luxuriousness of the phone case. I fell in love immediately. It's made out of wood, which is something I love. I've had a few wooden phone cases before but all of them were a lighter color of wood with little to no seal on it which meant one of two things; 1) my jeans usually stained the wood, and/or 2) I would get splinters from the phone case. Those things haven't happened with this phone case.

Another huge thing I have noticed is how detailed the brand is. I find a lot of the times brands will just stick their logo on something and that's it, factory made. However, the detailing is outstanding. You can really tell them from their phone cases especially.

I honestly couldn't be more impressed with the quality and overall brand. I'm extremely grateful to the 416 Company for giving me a chance to work with them and to own a little bit of home away from home. It's also so nice to wear these products out and receive compliments, and to share stories with other people I run into that are from Toronto or just love it as much as I do. I'll leave you with a couple of selfies, because why not? P.S. - Apologies for the quality and brightness #gingerproblems

Have you ever been to Toronto? What was your favorite thing about the six? Would you buy products that represent where you're from? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below! A massive thank you to the 416 Company, you guys are incredible! You can check out their Instagram here!

All the love,
